LGBT+ Domestic Abuse Survey

The Drive Partnership is carrying out a consultation into the views of LGBT+ victim-survivors of domestic abuse.

LGBT+ is an umbrella term to describe people of all minority sexual orientations and gender identities, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, trans, non-binary, queer, genderqueer, and asexual identities, and intersex people. This is to understand their experiences of abuse and their views of what is needed to address perpetrator behaviour to increase safety and wellbeing of LGBT+ survivors. We would also like to understand LGBT+ survivors’ views on what they would like to see from an intervention designed for LGBT+ perpetrators of domestic abuse. The survey is open to those from LGBT+ communities over the age of 16 in England and Wales who identify themselves as having experienced domestic abuse from an intimate partner or family member.

Domestic abuse is not limited to physical violence, and we they to hear from survivors who have experienced all kinds of abuse. You may have experienced domestic abuse from a family member or from a partner or from more than one person, and we encourage you to think about all your experiences when answering this survey
